TOKYO OHKA KOGYO CO., LTD. Announces the Consolidation of User Support and Sales Locations on the European Continent.

KAWASAKI, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, October 21, 2003 - Tokyo Ohka Kogyo Co., Ltd. (TOK) hereby announces the consolidation of the Dutch Branch Office (Apeldoorn, Holland) of Ohka Europe Ltd. (OEL), its wholly-owned subsidiary in the United Kingdom, with OEL's European Sales Office (Amersfoort, Holland), effective October 20. With this consolidation, OEL has reorganized its two locations on the European Continent into a single center.

The Dutch Branch Office of OEL has engaged in user support and sales, mainly in the field of printing / plate-making materials such as photopolymer plates for flexographic printing. The European region is of vital importance to the TOK Group in this field as well as that of semiconductors, and we have long been vigorously active there. We decided to integrate the Dutch Branch Office into the European Sales Office, which is developing business in the field of semiconductors, to make our operation in the region even more efficient and to concentrate our management resources.
