Tokyo Ohka Kogyo Joins Semiconductor Climate Consortium as Founding Member

TOKYO OHKA KOGYO CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Kawasaki, Japan/ President: Noriaki Taneichi, hereinafter the “Company”) announced it has become a founding member of the new Semiconductor Climate Consortium (SCC), a group formed with other companies from across the semiconductor value chain and Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) as of November 1.

The Company supports the Paris Agreement and related accords driving the 1.5⁰C pathway and aims to “reduce CO2 emissions (per-base-unit) by 15 points by 2030*” and “achieve ‘net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emission’ by 2050.” In association with SCC members, the Company seeks to reduce GHG emissions across the semiconductor value chain.
